The Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency respects your privacy. When using this site, you may obtain information, access online products and services, communicate with us or link to other Web sites with which we are associated. While doing so, you may give us information so that we can provide enhanced services to you and to personalize your experience on our website. This online privacy policy describes how we use and protect identity information tha tyou share with us. "Identity information" is information that enables use to identifty you, such as your email address, name, title, and mailing address. This policy governs FCCDWEB. Our policy does not govern webistes of other parties to which we my provide links because FCCDWEB is not responsible and cannot control the privacy practices or content of those sites. However, we urge you at all times to use caution when providing information and suggest that you read the Federal Trade Commission's suggested safety precautions for internet surfing the web.

Information Control Practices

FCCDWEB wants to give you comfort and confidence you need to fully participate online. Therefore, here are the principles governing our information control practices and other privacy aspects:

Information Collection and Use

FCCDWEB collects Identity Information when you register for an FCCDWEB account, or use certain FCCDWEB services or when you visit FCCDWEB pages.

Once you register and/or visit FCCDWEB.ORG and/or use our services, you are not anonymous to us. FCCDWEB also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address and the page/pages you requested. FCCDWEB uses information for three general purposes: to customize the content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain services, and to contact you about special-bulletins and FCCD Council news. FCCWEB routinely time-stamps and logs events (like features used, number of participants, length of page viewing, etc.). This data is used for web development informational purposes as well as for performance tuning and optimization of the FCCDWEB website and services.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

FCCDWEB will not sell or rent your Identity Information to anyone.

Editing or Deletion of Your Identity Information

FCCDWEB gives you the ability to edit your Identity Information and contact information at any time, including whether you want FCCDWEB to contact you about special bulletins and FCCDWEB Council news.

IP Information Collection and Use Practices

FCCDWEB receives IP addresses from all users because this information is automatically reported by your browser each time you view a Web page. Your IP address is also stored in our user registration databases when you register with FCCDWEB. When an FCCDWEB Web page is requested and viewed, that request is logged on our servers with information including the IP address of the computer that requested the page. IP addresses may be used for various purposes, including to: diagnose service or technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with the IP addresses controlled by a specific Web company or ISP, estimate the total number of users visiting FCCDWEB from specific countries or regions of the world, etc.

Servers

The FCCDWEB's hos (Sectorlink) computers, called "servers", that send your Web pages and advertising banners process and store an enormous amount of information every day. These computer records are called "log files". Log files are used for analysis, research, auditing, and other purposes as described above. After this information has been used, it is stored and is inaccesible to the public.
