Institute Service Project

Battered Women and the Elderly

Each year the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency selects a local school, charitable organization, or individual to be the beneficiary of items donated by attendess to the Annual Criminal Justice Training Institute.

This year, as our Community Service Project, the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency will be providing assistance to battered women and elderly individuals living in nursing care facilities.  We kicked off this endeavor in November at our first quarterly board meeting by collecting shampoo, soap, lotion and shower gel for our Battered Women project.  For the second quarterly board member, chapter presidents and state board members are requested to bring the following items in support our Community Service Project.

Battered Women Elderly
Cell Phones (with batteries if possible) Footies, socks, etc.
Women's Clothing (all sizes) Blankets or wraps
Children's Clothing (all sizes)
Toiletries (shampoo, soap, lotion, shower gel, etc.)
